Written and illustrated by Haruko Ichikawa, Land of the Lustrous (宝石の国, Hōseki no Kuni, lit. "Land of Jewels") is a Japanese seinen manga series serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon from October 2012 to April 2024, with its chapters collected into 13 tankōbon volumes. Set in a world inhabited by the Lustrous—immortal, humanoid embodiments of gemstones—the story chronicles their search for purpose and belonging while constantly defending themselves against the Lunarians, a mysterious celestial race seeking to harvest them. The series was also adapted into a 3D anime television series produced by Orange, which aired from October to December 2017.
